The Climate Trust, a mission-driven nonprofit that specializes in financing climate solutions, today announced the release of our 2015 Annual Report. The digital format allows for a streamlined and interactive means to experience The Trust’s annual activities.

Each year, The Trust strives for transparency in reporting on our meaningful progress with partners, clients, and stakeholders. The 2015 edition features extensive financial and programmatic information, as well as project milestones, recent publications, and comments from senior leadership.

Sean Penrith, Executive Director for The Climate Trust comments:

“In 2015, we continued to modernize and advance our business through the unveiling of a new face and mission for The Climate Trust—raising the bar in how we communicate with both new and existing clients. Our brand strategy also helped to shape a new and streamlined online application process for carbon project developers seeking conservation financing. This endeavor was made possible through a $1M Conservation Innovation Grant award from the United States Department of Agriculture, helping to bring The Trust’s first-of-its-kind carbon investment fund to fruition.

2015 Annual Report

Building upon a legacy of innovation and leadership in the carbon market, The Climate Trust accelerates the pace of carbon mitigation through conservation finance. We value air, water and soil through the development, purchase and sale of qualified offsets and a relentless investment in people and projects with environmental purpose.
