The Climate Trust Welcomes 3rd Hazel M. Johnson Fellow Kaylan Soares

We are pleased to welcome Kaylan Soares to the team as part of the Hazel M. Johnson Fellowship, in partnership with Black Girl Environmentalist.

Kaylan brings a background in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management, along with experience in data analytics and project management. Passionate about GIS and remote sensing, Kaylan is interested in applying technical tools to support responsible land stewardship and environmental solutions.

At The Climate Trust, Kaylan will support a range of projects including geospatial analysis and visualization, carbon offset protocol evaluation, and feasibility research for carbon market initiatives. These responsibilities are designed to provide broad exposure to the carbon market industry while building on Kaylan’s academic training and career interests.
