Published: May 28, 2021 by Editorial Team

After five years as Chief Investment Officer, and three years in co-leadership, Kristen Kleiman will be departing The Climate Trust to embark on her next professional chapter. Her last day will be June 8th.

“During her five years at The Climate Trust, Kristen launched and managed its successful pilot carbon offset investment fund, Climate Trust Capital, and repositioned the organization to focus on nature-based carbon offset project development. She led the collaboration with the Land Trust Alliance to pilot a nationwide grasslands carbon offset program that aligns climate, working lands and conservation goals,” said Morgan Rider, representing the Board of Trustees. “We appreciate her efforts and wish her the best of luck in her next chapter.”

Julius Pasay, Director of Project Development, will serve as Interim Executive Director and oversee operations while continuing his role in project development. Julius has worked closely with leadership on all aspects of the organization and is well-positioned for the role.
