Historic $2 million Carbon Investment Supports 38,000-acre Family Ranch in Montana  

The Climate Trust is excited to announce a $2 million investment, made alongside Inlandsis, in two grassland conservation easements in southeast Montana. These funds secured perpetual no-till easements, held by the Montana Land Reliance, to protect soil carbon while supporting a working family ranch. This is just one of many projects underway at The Climate Trust through our Grassland Conservation Carbon Program, which promotes nature-based solutions for sustainable land stewardship across the Great Plains.
