Hood River Tree Farm Project Issues CCP Labeled Offsets

The Climate Trust and Hood River County have reached a major milestone with the first issuance of carbon credits from its Hood River County Tree Farm ACR Improved Forest Management on Non-Federal U.S. Forestland Version 2.1 project. The project’s methodology is amongst a handful to receive the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market’s (ICVCM) Core Carbon Principles (CCP) label, generating new revenue to support sustainable forest management, recreation, wildlife habitat, and long-term carbon storage across more than 32,000 acres of public forest.
