The Climate Trust Funds $3.8 Million in Reforestation Support

Today, we announced $3.8 million in awards to support reforestation and wildfire recovery efforts in Oregon and Montana. Awards are being allocated from our Enabling Reforestation and Afforestation Success (ERAS) program, which seeks to support critical but underfunded forest restoration activities and the use of public and private carbon market partnerships to fund reforestation efforts.

These projects will plant new trees, protect forests from wildfire, and support local ecosystems and communities and use innovative public + private funding partnerships, showing a scalable model for restoring forests in western landscapes. Together, we’re helping forests thrive for generations to come!
