Ruthanne Ward provides geospatial expertise to support the acquisition, development, and ongoing management of forest carbon offset projects. Before joining The Climate Trust, Ruthanne served as a research fellow with the NOAA Cooperative Institute for Great Lakes Research and as a geospatial research assistant at the Clark Center for Geospatial Analytics. In these roles, she contributed to cutting-edge projects, including the development of innovative deforestation risk mapping methodologies. She holds a Masters in Geographic Information Science and a Bachelors in Geography from Clark University. In her free time, Ruthanne enjoys reading science fiction, spending time outdoors and cooking for her friends and family.
